Noisettes are vigorous climbing roses that resulted from crossing Tea roses with China roses. They have a wonderful set of properties, being vigorous, well branched, reasonably disease resistant, remontant, and fragrant. The color pallet is not large; and the roses are generally quite tender in the face of cold weather. Still, where they are cold hardy, noisettes can be among the most dramatic and lovely roses in a garden.
