Saville has an enviable list of highly rated miniatures that have been quite successful in commerce. It is quite difficult to find a garden that grows miniature roses without finding Rainbow's End. Were it a lesser rose, we might call it hackneyed or cliched. But Rainbow's End produces flowers that start yellow and progress through various shades of pink and end up red - something like Summer Fashion, Masquerade, or Mutabilis. It's a fun transition. And that explains why the rose shows up in every location minis are grown. Winsome is a tough and lovely plant with perfect little mauve flowers borne strongly several times a season. It's worthy of wide exposure. We assme Minnie Pearl earns high marks in part because it exhibits well.
