Comments It produces lots of golfball sized globular cupped flowers in a great flush in early summer and on a sprawling plant. Other breeders have tried to copy this rose, but only Austin's Bow Bells comes close. I grew this on four inches of poor soil atop limestone gravel. The rose was never very vigorous; but it did survive for eight years without feeding. And it bloomed nicely each year. Given deep, rich soil and adequate feeding and water, it can be glorious in its season.
