Comments This is an unusual flower by any standards, an especially unusual one by Buck standards. The faces of the flower are a strong magenta in color and the reverses are a silvery cream color. So it's a pink and white bicolor. But this changes in proportion to how much yellow pigment the petal makes and shows on both faces. With lots of yellow pigment the petal faces are bright scarlet and the reverses are bright yellow or maybe orange. And of course the whole array of colors that fall in between can be seen from time to time. Sadly, the plant is neither so disease resistant nor so vigorous as many Buck offerings.
