Comments Griffith Buck bred hardy roses for northern midwestern climates. The resulting roses were hardy, disease resistant, and foliferous. They may not win at a lot of rose shows, but the flowers are large and nicely formed with high centers and wonderfully reflexed petals. It can be a leggy plant, but it is also one that will bloom well through most of a short northern summer.
