Comments Carefree Beauty is arguably the most durable and beautiful pink shrub rose produced since WWII and Sunsprite is arguably the best yellow floribunda rose of the same period; so this seems like a sensible coupling. The result is a rose with no more than half the yellow pigment of its pollen parent, and almost no pink, rendering it pale yellow or ivory. It's not an exhibition rose, but as a garden rose it has good form. They are also blessed with berry fragrance. The plant is vigorous, hardy, and - except for a touch of powdery mildew - good resistance to disease.
