Comments Its individual flowers are relatively large and packed with petals. They have a kind of retro look that harks back to early hybrid tea days thanks to tightly scrolled petals and a silky sheen to the petals. In some conditions the rose makes clusters in dribs and drabs and in these one must draw near the plant to be impressed. Occasionally, though, it can cram many dozens of them together in one place and really wow you. It's distributed on both coasts, so one would expect it to have at least decent disease resistance.
