Comments Pink, in this case, has two meanings. The most obvious one is a reference to the color of the flowers. But the second meaning is the "pinked" or serrated edges of the flower. The effect is to make the flowers resemble small carnations. The vigorous plant produces a huge number of them. The plant is vigorous to a fault; but it resents being pruned. Furthermore, it has lots of sharp thorns and no fragrance. This all suggests it be planted in a space remote from a walkway.
