Comments Most of the rose is a dark red-orange, but it has white or cream stripes, to. It's a very striking rose. The darkness of color is supported by foliage that is not too dark. The rose appears to have passed directly from introduction into obscurity. Whether it can be grown in the garden or not seems to be an open question.

BTW: there seems to be another striped rose that employs red, yellow, and white in very roughly the same way named Claude Monet. This duo might look handsome with the mini rose Earthquake; but it would be quite a task to get all three cultivars together in one place.
