Comments From its heritage, we would guess that McGredy was aiming for a bright orange or scarlet rose generous in bloom. That's pretty much what he produced. Usually the flowers are an electric orange color; sometimes they are closer to vermilion or coral. The blossoms are semidouble and quite informal in effect. Foliage is glossy and susceptible to blackspot.
