Comments Producing lovely pink blossoms that darken toward rose as they age, this plant grows quickly to 12 ft. It's well branched and well-clad with healthy foliage. Under perfect conditions, it will bloom for more than 9 months a year. It is the perfect rose to grow on a high fence or low wall, but it will require regular attention if it is not to quickly look a little wild.

BTW:

This was the first garden plant I was successful in growing. I bought a $12 arbor from Home Depot, painted it white, and trained this rose up that arbor. By the end of a season in the Texas heat it was seven feet tall and covered with blossoms, even though it got just five hours of direct sunlight per day.
