Comments It forms high-centered roses that display a mixture of dark pinks, corals and soft orenges. It's all very subtle and under-stated. In the year of its introduction it won every award for which it was qualified in Britain. What accounts for its obscurity? Its subtlty of color? The fact that the rose is named for a dog? Or perhaps it's the rose's susceptibility to blackspot and rust - which together would make it unsuitable for pretty much any garden in the US. Numerous sources claim that the bloom cycle on Mischief is fast.
