Comments In the bright California sun the flower is really really orange, sometimes vermilion. In the northeast it's a softer shade of salmon or perhaps coral. The flowers are borne in ample numbers on a low, sprawling, healthy plant. It does sometimes cling to flowers longer than it should, and the petals bleach to an unsightly pink or white. The plant is quite vigorous and free of disease even in places where rose culture can be a little difficult - like Missouri.
