Comments In some places the strong cerise and white flowers will look garish. But in other places, perhaps the pink will not be quite so strong, and the rose will take on a lovely, delicate sensibility that is even better than Ballerina. Peter Beales recommends it for use with Ballerina, or as a hedge. By several accounts it is nicely fragrant, but by others it is scentless. It tolerates shade and is disease-free. In Europe it wins all the awards that one would expect of a Ballerina with dark rose and white flowers. American gardeners, though, are not impressed.
