Comments Marijke Koopman forms moderately fragrant high-centered blossoms in a bright cerise. Only a few dozen gardenworthy hybrid tea cultivars produce blossoms so formally elegant. The plant is almost unconditionally healthy, tolerating sub-optimal soil, a little shade, and a wide range of weather conditions. Bred in England, it's a good rose for coolish summer gardens and may not be happy in blistering heat or sultry weather. In warm weather and bright sun the petal tips may occasionally blush to crimson adding a subtle new dimension to the flowers.
