Comments Margo Koster produces cupped flowers not much more than an inch across in a warm shade of pink that can sometimes approach salmon or soft orange. The plant produces great heads of these flowers on a compact plant, making the rose seem very opulent. though compact, the rose is quite vigorous. It is untroubled by blackspot and somewhat resistant to mildew. Sadly, the flowers have no fragrance.

BTW: Margo is a sporting rose that has descended from a sporting family. There is, for example, a climbing sport of Margo Koster. Dick Koster, Margo's parent, is a sport of Anike Koster, a sport of Greta Klause, a sport of Echo, a sport of Tausandschon. What a kick it would be to reunite the family in one garden.
