Comments It blooms just once a year, but when Marechal Davoust does bloom, it produces a bounty of dark rose muddled ( and sometimesquartered) blossoms. These blooms are about 3.5 inches across and are full of old rose scent. This moss rose has some affinity to the damask roses, sharing their ability to thrive in poor soil and their trouble-free naure.
