Comments The perfect, high-centered buds open into quartered flowers in a warm, soft apricot but not very formal. They are fragrant and are contrasted nicely by bronze new-growth. The growth is too tall to use in an ordinary bed, but it is fine near the rear of a border. This is an unusual rose and an excellent one where it does well. According to Botanica's Roses it is untroubled by disease, so why is it not rated better? Perhaps the flower form is a little bit short and frumpy to win competitions. Or perhaps the color is to variable for that purpose.
