Comments It grows to over thirty feet at Roseraie de l'Hay where its pale yellow semi-double flowers can be seen flying high aloft. And it is covered with flowers. It's a sight that wows. We infer that this is a good rose for warm climates; less good for cool ones. British rosarians including Johnston, Macoboy, Thomas and Austin prefer sibling Lawrence Johnston for its stronger color. But according to Botanica's Roses, Le Reve has a better overall health record. Le Reve was chosen by its breeder for the French market. Antique Rose Emporium in Texas, too, sells this instead of its sibling.
