Comments The blossoms are high-centered and quite substantial, and they are colored lilac - sometimes verging on pale pink and sometimes approaching mauve or rose. It may not be the best garden rose because the plant can be a little spindly; but the blossom is a buxom beauty in full bud.

BTW This is a rose we hear little about any more because there are a number of better choices including Blue Boy, Blue Girl, Tarde Gris and Lagerfeld that grow on more substantial plants and produce flowers with more fragrance. Not all of these, though, will have that same lovely scrolled petal that looks so retro today.
