Comments For a Damask, the flowers are large, 3 inches across, and they are of delicate form suggesting perhaps gallica or alba influence. They are borne plentifully on a well branched and foliated shrub. And they are very fragrant. The plant is vigorous and disease-free.

BTW La Ville Bruxelles and Ispahan grow not far apart in my zone 7 garden. They begin blooming at about the same time. They make about the same number of flowers in roughly the same color and form. Ispahan's flowers are the slightest bit darker pink and its bloom period might be a week longer.
