Comments When grown in perfect conditions this rose lives up to its name; it is perfect: high centered, cream petals tipped with bright cerise and stylishly reflexed. Botannica's roses tells a story about woman who saw a large arrangement of these in a hotel and gaspsed "They're not real, are they." On closer inspection she decided they were not. Judging from its distribution, it favors locations where the air is not too hot and dry; gardeners in southern California call it Kordes IMperfecta, for instance. It also hates shade. In Louisiana it hates humidity, falling prey to black spot. It also gets mildew. Perhaps it would well enough in parts of Oregon, France, and Australia.
