Comments Konigin von Danemark is one of ten roses that always photograph perfectly. It seems that no writer ever has a single bad thing to say about it. Furthermore every writer has much good to say of it. The flowers are formal, neat, strongly and deliciously scented, and come in a lovely clear pink. Foliage is dark gray-green, lush and dense on a very well branched frame. The rose tolerates poor soil, a bit of shade, and is immune to fungal disease. It is, however, not a veritable flower machine. Even at the peak of flower production it looks a little restrained. For the remaining 11.5 months in the garden is is a more attractive shrub than any other rose could hope to be.
