Comments Said to be one of the better performers in this color range it falls between lilac and mauve in color, and has hardly a trace of pink, its blooms approach or exceed 5 inches across and are very fragrant. The petals may be a little thin, so there may be some browning at the edges, especially in hot, dry climates. It is not prone to disease. We guess that its middling rating among ARS members stems from either an informality in the shape of the blossom, a weakess as a cut flower, or a sparseness of bloom.
