Comments It bears single flowers, about two inches across that are dark coral or light crimson in color. They have a small, subtle white eye around sandy colored stamens. The foliage is dark and leathery. It's a cold hardy rose, but it definitely does require plenty of light, good soil and steady moisture to thrive. Beyond this, however, little is required. It looks really great in a naturalistic planting.
