Comments In warm climates like Australia's Joy of Life makes roses that are soft yellow edged in a pure bright scarlet. The edging can be wide enough to make the rose look almost monochromatic bright scarlet with some warm coral highlights. In cooler climates the rose develops less yellow pigment and so appears mostly white with cerise edging. In all of its manifestations, it's an interesting rose.
