Comments John Davis bears huge numbers of 3 1/2 inch blossoms in its first summer flush, then goes on to produce more of the pink blooms during the summer. The plant is very vigorous and disease resistant; and it is very cold hardy. To make things even better, the blossoms are strongly redolent of spice. While all of Svejda's introductions have been of great merit to gardeners in cold climates, here is one that rose gardeners from zones 3 to 7 should scramble to cultivate. It's a rare rose indeed that can produce more fragrant flowers at once.
