Comments Hardy at least to zone 3, Jens Munk produces pink roses on an upright shrub with grassy green rugose foliage. It is remontant, not particular about soil, reasonably tolerant of shade, and very resistant to disease. For its incredible strengths, it has garnered a stellar rating among ARS members. Not everyone, perhaps, will find this rose to be as lovely or charming as it is tough. One could wish for prettier flowers, a little more fragrance, or more hips. Those who need a cold hardy rose or those enamored of the rugosa look will find this is an excellent choice.
