Comments Said to be one of the most popular roses in the world by Botanica's roses, it is no doubt due to an ironclad constitution, strong fragrance, repeat bloom, cupped flowrs, and stripes. The plant is more compact and branched than most bourbons, which makes it ideal for many borders. And its cheery flowers consort well with other, more staid old garden rose colors. The blooms are white, touched with pink in places with bright sun and hot weather. Where temperatures are more moderate, the blossoms are pink striped or blotched with a rosy lilac. Bourbons are notorious for getting blackspot; but Honorine de Brabant is less seriously affected.
