Comments Honor produces large, high centered white roses. Where conditions are perfect, it can grow six feet in a season and produce blooms that are large and substantial. They are not, however, fragrant. It evidently has some resistance to disease because it was distributed broadly and still retains an above-average rating for hybrid tea roses, of 7.6 by ARS members. That said, it is subject to blackspot and rust, and will need protection where these can be a serious problem. Those wishing for fragrance or for a rose that is more carefree will want to look at one of the other good white roses.
