Comments Hermosa is a china-bourbon cross that has been popular for a century and a half. It is nicely shrubby, easy to grow, and remontant. The blooms are not very large, but the globular buds open to muddled roses with scrolled petals. It's a very pretty look. Sadly, there is no fragrance. Although it is remarkably tolerant of poor conditions, it takes very good conditions for it to be generous with its bloom. There is a good flush of flowers in spring and another in fall, with the occasional flower in between. When out of bloom, it's a good looking plant, too, making it an extremely good candidate for a mixed border.
