Comments Extraordinary white petals suffused with yellow near the base and edged in a delicious and assertive cotton-candy pink. One can reasonably expect that it inherited a good measure of vigor from its kordesii parent, Heidelberg, so it should not be a rose of difficult culture, especially in coolish climates. One rose writer suggests that Harlekin and Antike 89 are better; but in my two years' experience growing all three under similar conditions, Handel is the only one vigorous enough to actually bloom.
