Comments It is a very good rose that has been eclipsed by Europeana and Showbiz. It produces a lot of scarlet roses that can be set off to perfection by bronze foliage. It blooms prolifically and it blooms with good continuity, making it and indispensable source of rich color. And it is more cold hardy than some, making it probably the best red floribunda for the frosty north. Pickering Nurseries speculates that (for its Canadian customers) it is "the best red floribunda." Rose growing groups in Michigan and Minnesota both list it as a good variety.
