Comments There are quite a few excellent roses that have been awarded the AARS award, but few have also rated a Gamble Medal for the spicy fragrance of its blossoms. Few roses produce this many large flowers. And few Hybrid Teas develop horizontally as well as this one. Among ARS members it rates almost 8.0 which is quite high for hybrid tea roses. This is really a rose that deserves to be planted where it can do well. It does get mildew where night air is cool and damp and may require spring freeze protection, but where given good condions it can wow.
