Comments Apricot petals open and fade to pale apricot. Sometimes it's just a golden apricot color. And sometimes the petals blush or show a splash of orange near the edges. In any case the flower looks delicious and smells good too. The color is pure enough that it will stand up well to reds and oranges, and will really be set off nicely by primrose. It is reputed to be heat tolerant and very resistant to disease, and it has remained widely distributed over the nearly thirty years since its introduction.
