Comments In 1949 Nancy Lindsay brought Gloire de Guilan to England from Iran where it had been used to make attar for perfume. Flowering but once a year it does put on a good show. Its beautiful gray-green foliage complements the pale flowers and lightens the garden when they are gone. The plant is tough and trouble-free.
