Comments Winner of a James Alexander Gamble award for fragrance in 1997, this rose is a good smeller. It's pretty variable in color, ranging from a warm and dark pink bordering on cerise through shell pink to pale apricot. And as can be expected of a rose with this much color variation it shows multiple colors at the same time with a touch more yellow on the younger, central petals. Blossoms are average size for a hybrid tea roses, of about 4.5 inches, but they seem to be pretty formally arranged most of the time. No info on disease resistance but it is certainly still a rose in demand.
