Comments Deep coral is a very rare shade for a rose. And highly fragrant hybrid tea roses remain the exception rather than the rule. It is, therefore, no surprise that Fragrant Cloud has been a popular rose since its introduction more than forty years ago. It's not the most disease-resistant rose. Nor is it a model of stiff, elegant form. But where the climate is favorable it can be a strong asset to a garden. It is one of a handful of roses that have won the world federation of rose societies world's favorite rose award (WFRSWFR). And it has won a Gamble medal for fragrance. Not five roses have received both awards.
