Comments This must be the most popular salmon colored climber in America. It was introduced by Warriner at the height of J&P's reign over the US rose market. So it was almost inevitable that the rose would be a hit in its day. This said, the rose has endured thanks to its own qualities. It grows well, it blooms generously, it's flowers are large, well formed and in an attractive color, it has some fragrance, and it is both vigorous and disease resistant. An ARS rating of 8.5 suggests that pretty much anyone in the US would be satisfied with its performance in their garden. It's not many roses that could claim that.
