Comments When Ferdy is at the peak of bloom, it is difficult to see any foliage, for the whole plant is covered with small flowers. The flowers themselves can range from pink to salmon. And they are very trim and neat. The plant tends to grow much more wide than tall. So if it is grown as a hedge, it will make a wide, low one. The plant is vigorous and disease free. But it is neither fragrant nor remontant. Sadly, its lack of remontance and the fact that it was bred overseas have together doomed it to obscurity; but the last time I checked there is one in a park in Somerset NJ sitting right next to Dream Cloud that will one day, I hope, convince the right rose distributor to list them both.
