Comments Felicite Parmentier produces small, quartered flowers in a warm pale pink. Paul Barden uses the term "immaculate" to describe their form. The scent is delicious and strong. The rose is not remontant, but it does bloom over an extended season, sometimes for as long as six weeks. Its form, color, and extended bloom cycle all are suggestive of some damask blood. It does, however, survive zone 4 winters easily, and may work in zone 3 on its own roots. The plant itself is densely covered with rich green, disease-free foliage. It will survive in deep and continuous shade, but it does need at least four hours of unfiltered light per day to bloom.
