Comments That's EVE-lin, if you please. This rose craves bright sun, fertile soil, adequate water, and coolish air. When it gets perfect conditions, will grow quickly and produce large quartered blossoms that might range in shade from a pale salmon to shell pink or pale apricot. The large flowers are beautifully formed and deliciously redolent of peaches and old roses. There is almost no end to the praise one might heap on its best flowers. In places as far afield as Michigan, Illinois, and Texas, the rose has been grown with only minor disease problems. And it is one David Austin rose that has remained in the catalogue since its introduction and well past the expiration of its US patent. It may be slow to establish in cool places, but it is worth the wait.
