Comments Its flowers start off high centered, then open to a lovely old rose form. The color is pale yellow, perhaps with enough pink to bring the flower to buff. It is a perfect rose for a warm climate cottage garden. Gregg Lowery of Vintage Gardens suggests this as one of the most disease resistant of the Tea Roses. In my own garden, it survived repeated freeze-thaw cycles of the Arizona alpines better than Lady Hilliingdon and a few other teas, suggesting it is a little more cold hardy, too.
