Comments In the case of English Miss, the subtle trumps the flashy. White or pale pink petals sport a tinge of yellow near the bases and the center, giving them a sophisticated and understated look. The petals can blush darker pink near the edges. The stamens are subtly colored in a buffy straw color. Foliage can be quite a dark gray/green, approaching leaden. And when it is so, it really sets the flowers alight. The plant develops steadily and is not prone to disease problems.
