Comments "When this rose is in full bloom in summer, no other rose will outshine its beauty" says Botanica's Roses (small ed.) It produces prodigious numbers of white flowers with wide, pink edges. And it is easy to grow. In the fall, it produces orange, golfball sized hips.

BTW: W. Kordes introduced a second rose by the same name, a shrub that was a cross of R. Macrantha and the rambler described above. It produces bright, watermelon pink roses on a chunky shrub.
