Comments Bred from Magic Carrousel and Coppelia '76, it is like the former but more variable. And with fewer petals. Magic Carrousel has petals that are white at the base and heavily outlined in a rosy pink. Sometimes Debut does as well. But sometimes it adds yellow pigment, darkening the edges of the rose to red, or yellowing the center. Or both. The consequence is that one needs at least a two by two matrix to begin expressing the possible combinations of colors in this rose. At its best, it can be heartbreakingly beautiful. But because of the complexity, there are thousands of ways it can disappoint. It's definitely a rose for a well-tended container.
