Comments New primrose yellow petals fade quickly to white as they unfurl around a high-centered bud. This is one of those rare hybrid tea roses that looks really good with the flowers fully open, revealing dark and attractive stamens. Swim and Weeks tended to produce fragrant roses; Armstrong carried their work forward, so this rose is reputed to be very fragrant. Curiously, it doesn't seem to get out much. Presumably those going for pale yellow choose its parent Peace; while those going for stronger color choose Midas Touch or Oregold. Those choosing lemon fading to white with much fragrance might choose Lemon Spice.
