Comments The color of its flowers ranges from cool pink through rose to mauve. Opening quickly to reveal bright yellow stamens, they are borne on a very shrubby plant with plenty of grass-green rugose foliage. It also bears round red hips that show nicely against yellow fall foliage. Dart's Dash is one of a few roses that will grow and bloom satisfactorily on the north side of a building with only an hour or two of direct sunlight. It can build up into a large, dense shrub, and would make a good choice for a hedge. That it is offered at High Country Roses suggests that it might be slightly better than average at surviving cool dry spells.
