Comments It's the variegated foliage that makes this an interesting rose. The white can vanish from mature leaves. One would grow this rose, probably in a coolish area where it gets some natural shade, as a curiosity.

BTW Cocker has used this rose as breeding stock to create a large-flowered rose that also has variegated leaves. The flowers range in color from cerise to red. Conveniently, all of these roses are also named Curiousity.
