Comments Big and pure white with lots of substance, these flowers are borne on a healthy plant. Soon after its introduction, this rose was one hot commodity at the show bench. Its size and substance assure that it will be a long time before it disappears from the rose trade.

BTW I saw this growing on fortuniana stock in Houston in 2000 (See Nelson's Florida Roses.) The plant was almost six feet high and almost as wide. And it was chock full of branches and leaves. It was almost shrubby enough to think of in the same terms as other garden shrubs. I have never seen a hybrid tea rose look that good since. Part of the credit, I'm sure, goes to an exceptionally rich diet administered by a rose lover intent on winning a big prize at an upcoming world convention. But how ever it was achieved, it was a great show.
